I go to the woods alone,
with not a single friend,
for they are all smilers and talkers and therefore
I don’t really want to be witnessed talking to the catbirds or hugging the old black oak tree.
I have my way of praying, as you no doubt have yours.
when I am alone
I can become invisible.
I can sit on the top of a dune
as motionless as an uprise of weeds,
until the foxes run by unconcerned.
I can hear the almost
unhearable sound of the roses singing.
If you have ever gone to the woods with me,
I must love you very much.

The sacred principles of life have never been written down: they belong to the heartbeat, to the rhythm of the breath and the flow of the blood. They are alive like rain and the rivers, the waxing and the waning of the moon. If we learn to listen we will discover that life, the Great Mother, is speaking to us, telling us what we need to know. We are present at a time when the world is dying and waiting to be reborn, and all the words in the libraries and on the internet will not tell us what to do. But the sacred feminine can share with us her secrets, tell us how to be, how to midwife her rebirth. And because we are her children she can speak to each of us, if we have the humility to listen.

Love weaves its magic and creates today, as its own better future ~ Raven
When you open your eyes to the world around you and begin to understand the language of the Universe, you transform your life into a magical one. You alone have the power to create this life. Life can be full of random chance and coincidence or you can see and understand the affirmations and inspirations being sent your way. Start today. All it takes is a simple shift of perception to open your mind to the magic that is at work all around you. The Universe is speaking, working to guide you. You merely have to ‘check in’ to hear its messages. Pay attention to the people, places and things you encounter day to day. Don’t discount things you happen across. If something stands out. Take note of it. You will be surprised at what you are missing simply because you have allowed yourself to remain unaware. So be mindful, be present and listen.
“Not all toxic people are cruel and uncaring. Some of them love us dearly. Many of them have good intentions. Most are toxic to our being simply because their needs and way of existing in the world force us to compromise ourselves and our happiness. They aren’t inherently bad people, but they aren’t the right people for us. And as hard as it is, we have to let them go. Life is hard enough without being around people who bring you down, and as much as you care, you can’t destroy yourself for the sake of someone else. You have to make your wellbeing a priority. Whether that means breaking up with someone you care about, loving a family member from a distance, letting go of a friend, or removing yourself from a situation that feels painful — you have every right to leave and create a safer space for yourself.”
The education of love begins in the moment and ends in eternity.
It is sparked by feelings of delight and resolves into the peace that
belongs to Being itself.
In some haunting lines of poetry Kahlil Gibran expressed this truth:
“Yet the timeless in you is aware of
and knows that yesterday is but todays memory
is todays dream
and that which sings and contemplates in you
is still dwelling
within the bounds of that moment which
scattered the stars into space.”
Use love as your mirror of the timelessness; let it nurture your certainty that you
are beyond change, beyond the memory of yesterday and the dream of tomorrow.
There are infinite ways to discover your true Being, but love holds the brightest
torch. If you follow it, you will be guided beyond the limits of age and death.
Come out of the circle of time, and find yourself in the circle of love.~~
We don’t always know straight away why a particular person comes into our lives. People are magnetised to us for all sorts of reasons, though the over-arching purpose is always to help us become more masterful at giving and receiving love.
Very often, we won’t understand the full force of influence another Soul has had upon our own journey until a long time after our first meeting. Some people are meant to stay with us a long time and ride the waves of our lives over many years.
Others flash in and out, leaving as fast as they arrived, perhaps creating or instigating spiritual changes that only become real to us long after the relationship has ended on the physical plane.
We frequently have old karma to clear up with those who make their way to us, which can feel very heavy, burdensome and complicated. The good news is that the time frequencies on Earth are speeding up considerably, which makes karmic issues much easier to deal with quickly (especially if we are conscious and actively release these relationships to the Universe through prayer, ritual and meditation).
Many of the Souls who enter our lives have a great deal to contribute to our Life Purposes; our learning, growth, inner development and spiritual awakening. Occasionally an encounter with just one special Soul can instantly create a Divine Awakening as they are programmed to activate our energy bodies and DNA shifts.
Remember that you may not always be aware of how specific people are contracted to change your life and consciousness until way down the line, and this is perfectly okay. If you hand your relationship over to God, invoking the help of the Divine at every stage (including when the relationship appears to be ending on the physical level) you’ll speed up the healing and transformation that the relationship was always designed to bring you.
Every person that you are in relationship with has a lesson, a purpose and a healing to bring to you.~
